Nordic Sheepdog Championship 2024

Nordic Sheepdog Championship 2024 will take place on 9.-11.8.2024 on the fields of the Mikkola Estate in Halikko near the City of Salo in Southern Finland, between cities Helsinki and Turku. We are looking forward to having teams from Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Norway and Sweden to meet up with our Finnish team.

The trial is hosted by the owners of the Mikkola Estate, Peppi and Marko Laine and the hard-working crew of the Finnish Sheepdog Society. Read more about farming in Mikkola in their own web pages.

Well respected Mr Doug Lambie from Wales and Mr Ned O’Keeffe from Ireland will be judging the trial. They as well as all the handlers, dogs and audience are warmly welcome here!

The Nordic Sheepdog Championship (NSC) is an annual trial, organised by the Organising Committee of the Nordic Sheepdog Championship (CNSC), in which National teams selected by Sheepdog Organisations from the Nordic countries can enter with a limited number of competitors.

The organisation of the NSC is cooperation between:

The Team Trophy is won in the Qualifier by the team with the team points added together and divided by the number of dogs in the team. The Best Team is based on the Qualifier.
