The trial is organised by the Finnish Sheep Dog Society, and it is hosted by Mr Heikki Teittinen and Mr Matti Tuhkalainen with their family and hard-working crew.

Due to a coworker’s unfortunate illness, Ned O’Keeffe is not able to leave the farm and come to judge the trial. But we are lucky to welcome Mr Peter Morgan, also from Ireland, to judge the European Cattle Herding Championship in Mikkeli.

Peter Morgan has won the Irish National and has been in the Irish Team several times. He was second in the Supreme Final in 2021. Peter Morgan has also been judging a lot in other European countries and also Texas. He farms in Ireland in the Mourne Mountains where good working dogs are essential.
